Following the annual election and budget meeting that took place on November 8, 2012 the proposed 2013 budget was passed. New dues take effect January 1, 2013.

Information for all residents:  

PROTECT YOUR PIPES: If you leave your unit for any length of time during cold weather, remember to set your thermostat no lower than 55 degrees to prevent your pipes from freezing. Make sure your doors are secure.  

AVOID FLOODING YOUR UNIT:  If your unit is your second home or you will be gone for more than a couple a days the Zia Vista Board and Staff are recommending the following procedures for shutting off the water for unoccupied units:  

1.     Turn off main valve on water heater. Location is on the top of heater. Turn clockwise for “OFF”. Turn counter clockwise to turn it back “ON”.                 

2.     Turn off water heater breaker.

3.     Shut off your valves underneath the kitchen and bathroom sinks.

4.     Shut off valves behind toilets.

5.     Shut off both your hot and cold valves to your washer.  

IF YOU NEED HELP, CALL THE OFFICE @ 473-1466 AND WE WILL SEND RALPH TO HELP YOU.

FIREPLACE: PLEASE DISPOSE OF YOUR ASHES IN THE METAL TRASH CANS PROVIDE FOR YOUR USE IN THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURES. DO NOT EMPTY YOUR ASHES IN THE DUMPSTERS. EACH DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE HAS ASH CANS. DO NOT LEAVE LIT FIREPLACES UNATTENDED.

IF YOU ARE MOVING OR YOUR TENANT IS MOVING IN OR OUT, PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL CONCERNED KNOW THAT BIG TRUCKS LIKE 18-WHEELERS CANNOT MANAGE DRIVING ONTO THE PROPERTY WITHOUT CAUSING DAMAGE.
